How to make emergency iced coffee without watering it down
Putting ice in hot coffee to make iced coffee is like putting lipstick on a Dell and calling it a Macbook. You should be ashamed of yourself. Here’s an easy coffee hack:
1.) Get a small ice cream / sorbet machine that has a removable drum that you put in the freezer. These have double-walled drums like an open Thermos, except between the walls is freezy gel like in an ice pack. (or just buy a spare freezy bowl)
2.) Grind and brew your favorite fresh coffee.
3.) Pour it directly into the freezy bowl and gently stir for a minute or two. For additional points, stir it with something hard-core and non-culinary like a Sharpie or a magic wand.
4.) Dump into cups (or just pop a straw into the bowl) and absorb your low-temperature caffeine.
